Only Daeva I’d ever met who looked over 40. Reviews are super helpful to getting eyes on our books, but just sharing the link increases our visibility a lot.īack before I got the bite, I was a sugar baby for this rich-ass Serpent named Szyszka. What I ultimately came up with preserves the "Cavalier" outlook of the original bloodline, but makes their half-dead state a bit more tangible.Īnyway, if you all are interested, check out the book, and I'll throw on some more excerpts soon! If you like the book, please consider leaving us a review, or sharing the link with people who might be into it. Solace did end up in the book, but as its own entry.

I originally was going to tie them to Solace, the mortality drug from Mythologies, which is briefly mentioned in the 2E core, but that ended up demystifying the drug too much. They actually went through a lot of spilled ink before the final version. Part of that was a desire to give them a bane that would matter more on a night-to-night basis, but without losing the core "we're vampires who age" aesthetic.

For instance, I did several of the lost clans and bloodlines in Spilled Blood, as well as a bunch of miscellaneous things in Enemy Action and The Tormented (apparently my niche is Night Horrors books).Īnyway, I thought I'd start off by including an excerpt from our update of the Erzsébet! This bloodline is one of my favourite things from Kiss of the Succubus, and they were on the top of my list for a Daeva book update. While this isn't an official book, the layout and artwork are to the level you'd find in any OPP or White Wolf book, and some of the authors have even worked on official CofD supplements. This one also includes a special system for player-led parties, which is honestly some of the most fun I've had playtesting a system ever. Our last release was False Gods: Ventrue, which included a 2E version reimagining of Malkavia (and was the number one seller on STV for over a month!) These books are sequels to that classic run of books, with new fiction, bloodlines, antagonists, and tons of Merits, Devotions, and other systems.

You can find the book here, and here are some bundles I've created for people who'd like to get the other clan books as well, or who've already got them and want a little discount:įor those of you who haven't read our books, we're None More Dark Publishing, and we've been going through the Requiem clan book series over the last year and giving them a Second Edition coat of paint (you might also recognize our bloodline update books, Bloodlines: The Resurrected and Bloodlines: The Devoted). Normally I just do a bunch of excerpts on the OPP forums, but I thought I'd do a little experiment and post over here as well. I'm kind of a lurker around here, but I thought I'd emerge from my hole to talk about my new STV book (or rather, my team's new STV book), Sin Again: Daeva.
